My Inner Compass
My Inner Compass is a thoughtful, 17 page workbook designed to help preteens and teens begin discovering what truly matters to them—and learn how to use those values when navigating real-life choices. Rather than telling young people what they should value or which decisions they should make, the activities invite them to identify their own core values, notice the difference between outside expectations and their inner voice, explore situations where important values compete, consider trade-offs, and reflect on choices they’ve already made. Through approachable scenarios, guided reflection, and a personal Inner Compass they create themselves, young people practice the self-knowledge and thoughtful decision-making that gradually build independence and good judgment. The goal isn’t to give them all the answers, but to help them develop something they can carry into adolescence and beyond: a stronger understanding of who they are, what matters to them, and how they want to move through the world.
